Who we are

SDA Corner is a Seventh-day Adventist digital ministry app ("Making Bible Truth Simple"), operated as a personal ministry project. The app provides free devotionals, Bible study guides, and a verse of the day to help users grow in their faith.

By creating an account or using this app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Eligibility

You may use SDA Corner if you are at least 13 years old. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information (name and email address)
• Keeping your account secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

You may not create accounts for other people without their consent, or use the app to impersonate anyone.

Use of content

All content in SDA Corner, including devotionals, Bible study guides, verses, and written material, is provided for personal, non-commercial spiritual use only.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any content from the app
• You may share individual verses or short excerpts for personal encouragement
• Content written by contributing authors remains their intellectual property

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract content
• Submit false or misleading information

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion.

No professional advice

SDA Corner provides spiritual content for personal encouragement and Bible study. Nothing in the app constitutes professional theological, medical, legal, or financial advice. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on content in the app.

Limitation of liability

SDA Corner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
• We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or free from errors
• We are not responsible for third-party services (Supabase, YouTube, Pexels) that the app relies on

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the app. Since the app is free, that amount is zero.

Changes to the app or terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time without prior notice.

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will process your request within 30 days. Some data may be retained as required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be resolved in the courts of Jamaica, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Disputes

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us by email and give us 30 days to resolve the issue. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes informally and in good faith.
